About the opportunity
- We require someone who has a building and construction background to become a member of our committee of management. This person may also have knowledge of NDIS requirements for Short Term Accommodation and Supported Disability Accommodation to assist our organisation in the development of a building program
- We require someone who has accounting or a finance/business background to become a member of our committee of management. Knowledge of NDIS requirements would be an advantage but is not essential. We currently have 2 people on the committee who have these qualifications, and are looking to gain further input into our team to strengthen our business approach
- We require a person who has worked in the Disability Sector who has qualifications and experience of Supervising students on placements. Knowledge of NDIS requirements is essential.
These are volunteer jobs with a requirement to attend a monthly ZOOM meeting 5.30pm on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings last for up to 1.5 hours and each person on the committee is expected to undertake small projects that would be approx. 5-6 hours of work per month.
