headspace has worked with New Horizons since 2015 as the lead agency and with the support of a number of local agencies who form a consortium. headspace’s vision is to improve young people’s mental, social and emotional wellbeing through the provision of high quality, integrated services when and where they are needed.

The position is part time, 24 hours per week. Days and times are negotiable with a latest finish of 7pm and occasional weekend events.
The successful candidate will be based at the Chatswood office.
It is a maximum term contract ending June 30 2019 with the potential for extension.
Day to Day duties:
- Develop strong working relationships with young people, family and friends, the local community and local services.
- Coordination of the centre Youth Reference Group.
- Liaise with the headspace team to ensure that community awareness and engagement activities are consistent with local needs and evidence-based practice.
- Works in partnership to encourage and support access to headspace for young people and their families.
- Using a range of approaches, increase community awareness of headspace centre services.
