- Positive Behaviour Support Experience

We are searching for Support Workers to work closely with our residents who display complex behaviours of concern (challenging behaviour).
Our residents have varying needs and require support in all areas of their lives.
The essential requirements for this role are listed below:
- Have resilience and be open-minded
- Understand the importance of consistency and the ability to follow the individual’s support plan
- Willing to attend Nulsen’s positive behaviour support training
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An enthusiastic can-do-attitude as well as a calm and focussed approach to problem solving
What you will need:
- Experience supporting people with Complex Behaviours
- Flexible availability to fit in with our current rosters (including morning, afternoon, weekend, night, split and/or short shifts)
- Australian Drivers Licence (non-probationary)
- Full work rights in Australia or at least 12 months validity on your Visa
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check only provided through our preferred supplier (link to be provided on shortlisting) less than three months old clear from any convictions
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003) with 6 months validity
- Working With Children Check
**You must be available to attend a mandatory 8 day induction program commencing mid October**
