The head of impact role

• Is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team of OzHarvest, to steward, lead and grow our revenue streams and brand into the future.
• Reports to the CEO and is a part of the Management Team
• Contributes to the development of strategies to ensure OzHarvest maintains a strong brand and reputation with sustainable funding to help continue the mission to ‘Nourish our Country’.
• Oversees all fundraising and revenue generating opportunities for OzHarvest and is responsible for the creation of financial year strategies to achieve operational budgets. These revenue streams include corporate partnerships, individual giving, grants (Government and private), bequest strategies, regular giving and other engagement opportunities that will generate long term sustainability.
• Leads the Brand, Communications and Media team so that brand awareness remains high with consistent profiling of the organisation’s work.
• Contributes to OzHarvest’s sustainability and advocacy goals, working to achieve the United Nations SDGs, specifically to reduce household food waste.
• Is an ambassador of the culture, purpose and values of OzHarvest

you:

• are a one of a kind fundraising / marketing guru with a strong sense of purpose and community
• are a motivated, passionate and natural leader who can support the organisation to achieve its mission
• are creative and thrive in dynamic and collaborative teams
• have proven experience and success in fundraising, sales, negotiation and revenue generation
• possess outstanding communication and project management skills
• know that relationships matter and can cultivate strong partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders
• have tertiary qualifications in development, business, marketing or public communication
• have 15+ years of experience in fundraising and development and 10+ years experience leading teams
• want to make a difference to our planet and its people
• want to work at an organisation that is values led and people first
