We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated Activity Officer for our Club and Culture program at PCYC Palm Island Youth Club. If you like to deliver engaging activities to your community, we want to hear from you!

Your New Role

Reporting to the Youth Club Manager, you will primarily be responsible for working with local community develop and deliver a range of sport, recreation and cultural activities to support young people’s social and emotional wellbeing through active participation.

About You

  • Experience in delivering and supervising cultural programs and working with children and young people within the community
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders including young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
