Western Sydney Migrant Resource Centre (WSMRC) is headquartered in Liverpool and supports newly arrived migrants and refugees. The organisation empowers diverse communities to connect, communicate and contribute.

WSMRC provides a range of wrap-around programs supporting our core settlement services. These include family services, playgroups, disability and health supports, youth activities and a variety of other information-based advisory and community leadership programs.

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, The Director of Services has overall responsibility for the management of existing programs and the development of new services to meet the needs of our communities.

About you

We are seeking an experienced, well-qualified professional to join the team in a senior management capacity.

• Tertiary qualifications in community services or other relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the community services sector
• Demonstrated experience in dealing with issues facing humanitarian entrants, migrants and CALD communities
• Demonstrated capacity to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to support capacity-building activities for CALD communities
• Demonstrated ability to actively participate in service, operational and strategic matters
• Demonstrated written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work within defined organisational objectives and contribute to promoting organisational objectives, values, services and activities
• Valid NSW Driver’s License
• Able to supply a Working with Children’s Check and suitable Police Clearance
