About the role:

This role is exciting and challenging, but the rewards are great! You will have the opportunity to support Young People who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness. You will assist clients to identify goals and work with them to achieve independent living. To provide a service which facilitates assertive outreach, assist client engagement and provide clients with information and referral to a broad range of community resources.

About you:

You will be a part of the Young People's care, supervising and guiding them through activities in daily living and addressing their homelessness. You will be supporting their individual needs and creating a safe living environment. You will also be part of developing, implementing and monitoring their individual plans. This includes the maintenance of progress notes and reports. You will also provide specific interventions and services in relation to living skills, education and training, and access to the private market (including intensive case management).

To be eligible for appointment to this position you must undergo a satisfactory National Police Records Check and an international criminal history check if you have resided continuously in an overseas country for 12 months or more in the last 10 years; and hold a valid Working with Children Check and hold a current Victorian drivers licence.
