About the role
The Op Shop Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for establishing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and onboard new volunteers to our op shops across Victoria.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with the Op Shop Network team to establish and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and onboard new volunteers to our op shops across Victoria.
- Measure the effectiveness of the recruitment campaign and implement creative solutions to improve our ability to attract new volunteers in a candidate short market.
- Coordinate end to end recruitment processes for all op shop stores simultaneously, including advertising, shortlisting, arranging interviews and facilitating pre-volunteering checks.
- Maintain the volunteer recruitment systems, including distributing correspondence to candidates and maintaining candidate records.
- Ability to speak publicly about volunteering with RSPCA Victoria.
- Actively promote equal opportunity and diversity in all areas of recruitment, ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process for all candidates.
What we are looking for from you
- Previous experience in a similar employee or volunteer recruitment role that requires strong administration, organisational and problem solving skills.
- High level literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills, including intermediate computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging work environment.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment.

Recruitment Requirements
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children's Check
- Valid and current Victorian driver's licence and willingness to travel across Victoria - including Bayswater; Bendigo; Burwood East; Ferntree Gully; Mildura; Mornington; Portland & Traralgon
