The Short Stay facility provides individual and family accommodation options for Aboriginal people primarily from Tjuntjuntjara and the Spinifex Lands, who are visiting Kalgoorlie-Boulder for personal business and need somewhere safe and supportive to stay.

The role

As a Short Stay Worker, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of daily tasks that support residents to enjoy a safe and productive stay and ensure that the facility is maintained to a high standard of safety, maintenance and cleanliness.

About you

The ideal applicant will have an understanding of and respect for Aboriginal culture, good communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of health and safety and risk management as well as highly developed customer service and organisational skills. Ability to work a flexible roster including daytime, evening, night and overnight shifts is essential.
