About the role:

The design function at Right Lane has been long considered a point of difference and an area of excellence at our boutique firm. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Support, this role will be influential in building Right Lane’s design function, creating impactful visual outcomes for clients, and maintaining the high standard of design in our firm.

As part of this essential role you will:

Build the Right Lane brand/style conventions:

• develop, maintain and execute Right Lane’s branding and visual identity while executing across print, digital and multimedia channels

Deliver exceptional visual materials:

• design and build impactful and easy-to-digest client presentations and project materials - including slide packs, report and posters
• present complex ideas and concepts in a simple and effective manner and to the highest quality
• manage day to day design team workflow
• push the thinking for more impactful design solutions across the firm

Digital capabilities (favourable):

• contribute to the design, structure and content of our websites
• create electronic communications such as EDMs, web assets and other digital technologies
• printed materials such as flyers, workshop handouts and large format printing

Relationship management:

• manage supplier relationships (website designers, printers etc)

To be successful at Right Lane you will have:

• exceptional PowerPoint skills (working with templates and slide masters)
• excellent visual corporate design skills, particularly in transforming written content into high-impact visual solutions (3+ years)
• experience in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
• a relevant tertiary degree qualification
• strong time management, communication and interpersonal skills
• outstanding attention to detail
• the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and timelines
• the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and challenging environment

The following are not required, but will be viewed favourably:

• knowledge of and/or experience in web design (including HTML/CSS and WordPress) and user experience design
• social media management experience
