Overview
As part of a collaborative team within the region and a wider connection globally, you will contribute to the growth and ongoing development of Rotary clubs, through support, leadership and customer service. The role requires a professional with a commitment to supporting volunteers through clear communication, decision making and leadership.
With the approval from the Rotary International Board of Directors, a Regionalisation pilot is being implemented over a three-year period across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands (Zone 8). This role will support the regional office in the daily operations and actions of clubs.

- Excellent skills in Microsoft and use of websites, computer technology and literacy via PC.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Provide information and support to key regional stakeholders in all aspects related to their respective roles.
- Attend to enquiries from Rotarians and the public concerning Rotary International (RI) matters and programs.
- Deliver training and presentations in workshops and classroom forums locally and interstate.
- Guide RI policy in terms of the use of the Rotary Marks.
- Assists and supports Rotarians in their use of “My Rotary” and the RI website, including developing Help Guides and training.
- Review and process applications for new Clubs, Club Mergers, Club Name Changes and Locality Description updates to ensure completeness and compliance with Board guidelines.
- Processes the termination, resignation, reinstatement and rechartering of Rotary and Rotaract clubs, assisting club and district representatives as required.
- Prepare materials related to effective and efficient communication with districts and clubs in Australia and New Zealand.
- Review relevant RI publications to maintain familiarity with current Rotary trends and issues.
- Support Regionalisation Implementation taskforce and regional council where needed.
- Engage club leaders with Rotary Community Leaders and Specialists.
- Willingness to travel to training events.
- Fluency in English is essential with French ideal.
