Who are you?

You have a passion for fundraising and supporter engagement and are eager to understand the work of the wider team and organisation’s ambitions and powerfully translate these for our supporters. You enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive team and being able to use using your own initiative and creativity to reach our goals.

You have high levels of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a self- managing ‘can do’ attitude – you know that with the help of our supporters, every day we are making massive wins for thousands of animals, and each step forward brings us closer to an Aotearoa where all animals matter.

What do you need?

• A minimum of three years fundraising experience.
• Experience of optimising regular giving campaigns or other philanthropic stewardship.
• Demonstrated success in both acquisition and retention programmes.
• Proven experience using segmentation to deliver personalised communications and supporter satisfaction.
• Experience using databases with the ability to analyse data to advise better results (Raisers Edge preferred) .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, flexibility, and a 'We Can Do This!" approach!

SAFE's mission is to end the exploitation of animals. To work with us, you must vegan, and dedicated to addressing pertinent issues related to animal rights and activism in Aotearoa.

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours a week and is a role which works remotely from home, so has great flexibility in how you manage your day. We are also open to hearing from people who would like to work less hours, and whilst this role works remotely, we would love to hear from anyone who is thinking about making a move back to Aotearoa.
