SELECTION CRITERIA
Sex work experience and a demonstrated understanding of issues affecting sex workers in Australia is an essential requirement of this position.
You must address each essential criterion in your application, otherwise it will be assumed you do not meet the requirements.
Essential
- Sex work experience and understanding of and commitment to sex worker rights and peer education.
- Advanced computer skills including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, file management, internet and email.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational, time-management and office management skills, including an exceptional attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills and ability to proactively seek alternatives and solutions to encountered problems.
- Commitment to continual improvement including an ability to undertake self-directed learning and upskilling to gain knowledge and experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and cooperatively within a team.
- Event planning and delivery skills.
- Cross-cultural skills and knowledge and knowledge of culturally appropriate work practices.
- A desire and willingness to work with sex workers, migrants, culturally and linguistically diverse people, and people living with HIV.
Desirable (not essential)
- Experience in the use of payroll and accounting packages, such as MYOB AccountRight.
- Experience with WordPress (Divi), Mailchimp, MailerLite, Buffer, Monday.com and Canva or similar platforms.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent experience (particularly in the community sector).
