The opportunity

Silver Chain are internally seeking a SeniorNurse/Level 2 Registered Nurse to join our Geraldton team on a Permanent Part Time  - minimum 30 hours per fortnight contract. The role will deliver client care in accordance with current professional and ethical standards, evidence based practice, relevant legislation and common law. You will be accountable and responsible for all care given including; assessments, maintenance of care plans; managing emergencies and identification of and delivery of appropriate intervention for complex client problems. 

About you

  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • 4 Years Post Graduate Clinical Experience
  • Minimum 2 years palliative care experience (Hospice Care Service).
  • Knowledge and demonstrated participation in QI activities.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Current Registration with the AHPRA
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
  • Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written
  • A current driver’s licence

Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
