South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is currently recruiting for a full time Foster and Kinship Care Practitioner to join our Partners in Foster Care team.

Broad requirements of the position

• Industry experience in Child Protection, Human Services or other relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to engage with and support foster/kinship carers to provide a safe, happy and stable placement for children and young people who may have complex needs and behavioural issues
• Relevant qualification or desire to gain qualifications in a supportive environment
• Demonstrated ability in assessment and report writing at a professional level
• Time management and IT competency to ensure all case notes and other record keeping requirements are met
• Experience in facilitating adult learning or willingness to learn
• Availability to participate on an on call roster
• Ability to meet Working with Children Card and Child Safety Suitability Checks
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Queensland driver's licence
