The Crossroads program service delivery model is the first of its kind in Western Australia and is funded by the Mental Health Commission to provide a unique and innovative response towards tackling antisocial behaviour, alcohol and drug related harm for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Fremantle CBD, Perth CBD, and the Maylands commercial areas.
We currently have a vacancy for a person to join our outreach team who engage with the homeless community that are involved in street present drinking and substance misuse. The outreach team consists of a Senior Outreach worker, an Aboriginal Health Outreach worker and an Assertive outreach worker (this position).
A relevant Diploma or Degree Level qualification is required, as is a current WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence. Persons of aboriginal or culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
