Amélie Housing is the name of the national community housing provider organisation established by St Vincent de Paul Society (the Society) in Australia and is an important part of the Society. Amélie Housing is a Registered Tier 1 Community Housing Provider under the National Regulatory System for Community Housing.

About the Role:

The Asset Coordinator is responsible for ensuring quality maintenance and upkeep of Amélie Housing properties. Your proven property maintenance expertise, great attention to detail and good organisational skills will be crucial to this role.

The Asset Coordinator - Amélie Housing will:

  • ensure effective end-to-end delivery of repairs and maintenance for Responsive, Planned and Cyclical Programs
  • oversee contracts administration in accordance with supplier agreements
  • conduct regular audit and quality inspections
  • respond to tenant maintenance enquiries and complaints; process requests for alterations and modifications as needed
  • manage out-of-hours emergency and maintenance contractors
  • on a weekly and monthly basis, report on all work orders, complaint escalations and active projects
  • assist in ad hoc projects as required
  • support the Team Lead - Asset and Procurement and the National Asset Manager in delivering Strategic Outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with Housing NSW Schedule of rates (SORs)
  • Experience in residential property maintenance
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to collect and manage data and generate relevant reports
  • Ability to identify, investigate and propose solutions to complex problems
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel etc.)
  • Current NSW Driver Licence
