Your role as Store Manager

As new Store Manager in Newport NSW 2106, you will be instrumental in building positive connections with the locals and visitors alike, and make this store a popular place for finding great quality pre-loved items. Your role is vital to generating the store's strong sales performance in a competitive local market. Your proven retail operations management and people leadership skills are highly essential to your success in this role.

Your responsibilities in your new role:

  • Leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteers
  • Ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided to every customer, every time
  • Embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards
  • Meeting and exceeding sales and KPI performance of the store
  • Champion the voice of the donor by upholding the highest standards in product sorting, pricing, and placement
  • Building and supporting the volunteer workforce and engaging with the local community
  • Role-modelling a 'safety first' culture in store
  • Use the company's mission and values to support decision making, act as a brand advocate inside and outside of the store

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in managing retail stores, preferably fashion, and/or high volume retail OR
  • Strong leadership potentials; with good fashion sense
  • Strong focus on customer experience
  • Proven people management skills or Experience in managing people, training and coaching
  • Proven ability to track store sales performance and drive team towards meeting sales targets
