Our Service:

Stride Hub is a community mental health and wellbeing service for adults, their families and carers that offers access to integrated care and support to improve recovery outcomes. Participants can access a range of community mental health support services; clinical mental health services; care coordination and NDIS supports. The service also offers full DBT clinical and DBT skills building interventions to the community.

Role Overview:

  • This position will provide senior reception support to Stride teams which are responsible for coordinating the service delivery of treatment and support for service participants.
  • Overall, the role undertakes a wide range of medical reception and administrative tasks that support teams to focus on quality service provision to service participants.
  • This position will work closely with the Clinical Manager and Operations Manager by providing frequent feedback and participate in regular communication via scheduled meetings and electronic communication.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Cert III in Medical/Business Administration (or other relevant qualification)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, work well under pressure and manage communications and information with staff and private practitioners.
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis, financial reconciliation and reporting with a distinct eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge with skill in managing GP practice software including MBS billing and skill in all Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to maintain a calm, pleasant and respectful manner. The ability to deal with a diverse range of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem solve and work flexibly and seek counsel where appropriate
  • A positive attitude that is, respectful, inclusive and enthusiastic.
  • Experience in a medical practice/health service in an administrative role
  • Knowledge of Medical Benefit Scheme (MBS) guidelines and referral pathways
  • Knowledge of MBS Better Access to Mental Health Program (desirable) 
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
