Strive Community Care provides therapeutic home environments for children and young people with histories of complex trauma, abuse and neglect.
Strive Community Care utilises a strong Therapeutic Framework and unique CREATE Model of Care with a focus on establishing holistic safety. Children and young people are provided with a sense of family, support to heal, opportunity to positively connect with others, and rebuild their lives.
We are now looking for Casual Therapeutic Care Workers to play a key role in supporting children and young persons in their healing journey through providing care in therapeutic homes. Therapeutic Care Workers also mentor children and young persons in OOHC through the Strive Mentoring Program.
These positions are required to work across 24/7 rotating rostered shifts, including sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.
The successful applicant/s will require the following Qualifications and Experience:
Aside from attractive hourly rates, Strive offers a robust training induction program, monthly supervision, has a focus on supporting the wellbeing of staff, and provides ongoing professional development opportunities.
Strive Community Care is a Child Safe organisation and will require the successful applicant to complete pre-employment checks including a Criminal History Check and a Positive Notice Blue Card.
