• Permanent Part Time Opportunity to work in Short Term Accommodation Respite in Caringbah 

Sunnyfield is a not-for-profit organisation with the mission of enriching the lives of people with intellectual disability by creating choice, opportunities and skills for life.

We are looking for proactive, energetic individuals to work in Sunnyfield's Short Term Accommodation (Respite) located in Caringbah supporting children with a disability, developing their skills and being active in their own lives.

This is a varied role that requires someone with the energy, values and flexibility to provide the best quality support to Sunnyfield's clients. 

About the Role:

• Supporting clients under the age of 18 to live as independently as possible and develop their skills in our short term accommodation (respite)
• Creating a pleasant home environment to live in
• Personal care and support with domestic and household tasks such as menu planning, cooking and cleaning.
• Working various shifts such as morning, afternoon, active night and weekends.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working in the disability sector
• NSW driver's license - sorry, we don't accept International Licence
• Working With Children Check
• Flexibility and willingness to work outside standard 9 to 5 business hours
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team
• Intermediate computer skills & system savvy
