Suzanne Cory High School (SCHS) is a co-educational, selective entry government school for Years 9-12, and the only one of its kind in Melbourne's western suburbs.

THE ROLE

The role of Latin Teacher at SCHS is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to teach what they love to our intellectually-gifted students.

You will be supported by a dedicated team of Learning Specialists and administrative staff to maintain the excellence academic success of our student body. You will also receive ongoing professional development to further improve your delivery of exceptional teaching practice, in both classroom and leadership roles.

The role may include but is not limited to:

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
• Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions;
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
