An exciting opportunity for a new or recent graduate veterinarian with a passion for animal welfare to join SDCH as we expand our veterinary team.

About the role
- Perform all aspects of medical and surgical veterinary care for both shelter and privately owned animals
- Work in a vet clinic where you get to make a real difference to the animals you care for each day
- Become an integral part of a highly experienced and caring team
- Participate in community education programs, desexing programs, animal welfare events, media, and fundraising campaigns
- Assist visiting specialists in complex cases
Desired skills and experience
- Applications from vets who are approaching graduation or recently graduated welcomed
- Has a passion for companion animal welfare and a desire to continually promote animal welfare through education and support of the community
- Aims to provide an exceptional level of patient care
- Is compassionate and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for animals
