Fundraising Manager

Sydney Jewish Museum

The Sydney Jewish Museum (SJM) is a world-class cultural institution, dedicated to documenting and teaching the history of the Holocaust and promoting understanding of the Jewish faith, culture and traditions.

Each year over 50,000 visitors come to the Sydney Jewish Museum in Darlinghurst, which is one of Australia’s most important Museums examining the history of the Holocaust. The Museum has over 250 volunteers and 38 dedicated staff, who work closely with our Holocaust survivors, to tell powerful personal stories of survival, resistance and migration to Australia.

The Museum has embarked on an ambitious planning process to redevelop the Darlinghurst site to connect and engage with over 100,000 visitors annually by 2032.

The proposed redevelopment will see a second Museum built to sit alongside the Holocaust Museum. This new Museum will encourage lifelong learning about Jewish life.
