About the role:

In this newly created position where you will lead the billings and collections function for our Ageing and Disability services including:

Assisting the Manager, Finance in establishing a culture of high performance, professionalism and continuous improvement with a focus on customer service

• Overseeing all Ageing and Disability billing and collection processes including NDIS bulk billing (a team of 3).
• Work closely and build relationships with outside agencies
• Work closely with the Manager, Finance concerning general ledger matters, bankruptcies and audit reporting requests.
• Works closely with Manager, Finance to implement policies, procedures and workflows that contribute to accurate invoicing.
• Addressing ongoing client queries concerning billing or service rendered in a professional and timely manner.

What you need to succeed?

• Ageing and Disability Sector experience is essential and is required
• 4-6 years’ senior billing and account receivable / collections role.
• Ability to manage complex systems and processes
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross functional way with others to achieve improved outcomes
• Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills; competent at juggling workload
• Natural leadership style with the ability to coach and mentor others
• Client Service experience to lead a client centric billing and collections team
• Excellent written and verbal skills to deal with client queries in a professional manner
• Ability to lead and improve our current Billing and Collections function
