TSA Doorways is a holistic community service model designed to meet immediate crisis needs and build people's capacity to achieve greater independence. Reporting to the Doorways Regional Manager (DRM), the Doorways Case Worker is responsible for providing case work support to community members who request material assistance and to those who would benefit from more specialised assistance. The Doorways Case Worker provides support, guidance and encouragement within a case work setting, to community members who are wanting to make positive changes in their life. The Doorways Case Worker will have the ability to explore with community members the deeper issues that have been contributing to their presenting situation, with a view to building longer term capacity and resilience.
We have a fixed term role available until May 2021, 30.4hrs per week, with a chance of extension, depending on the return to work date of the incumbent in the role.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Criminal History Record Check and present a current Blue Card (QLD).
