The Wagga Wagga Family Store is fully sourced by local donations and all profits made go to funding vital community activities and programs across the area and the Corps.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Truck Driver to provide support to the Family Store Manager and Corps Officers in providing collection and movement of donated goods from point of entry to point of sale. You will also be responsible for the pickup and delivery service for the Family Store in line with TSA mission and values.

HOURS AND SALARY

This is a casual.

Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Retail Industry Award Level 2.

ABOUT YOU

  • 1 year experience in mentoring/training and managing staff or ability to demonstrate capability to undertake
  • Minimum 1 year experience in driving and/or operating commercial vehicles
  • Proven experience in the recycling/transport industry a desirable
  • Appropriate and valid driver's licence
  • Self motivated and a strong work ethic
  • Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact and network positively with a variety of people
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Team player, flexible with a positive attitude
  • This role requires someone who is able to climb in & out of a truck and heavy lifting is required in line with WHS procedures
