About the role

We are seeking for a motivated Warehouse Assistant to join the Public Relations team on a full time maximum term for 6 months with a potential ongoing opportunity working at the Red Shield Warehouse, Abbotsford.

Reporting to the Warehouse Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and dispatching of all Red Shield Appeal materials
  • Coordinating and unloading the return of collection supplies
  • Picking and packing of supplies
  • Entering stock received into inventory systems
  • Maintaining inventory control and stock control records

About you

  • This is a physical position and may require some heavy lifting, therefore you will need the physical ability to load and unload supplies (essential)
  • Proven experience in warehouse procedures and practices (essential)
  • Proven experience in warehouse inventory and freight software programs (essential)
  • Current fort lift license (essential)
  • Current Victorian driver's license
  • A strong team focus with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build relationships with people of all backgrounds
