Adult Services is the largest social programme network within The Salvation Army and provides a broad, integrated range of services to the most disadvantaged adults experiencing homelessness in Melbourne’s Central, Inner Northern and Western metropolitan areas.
Flagstaff and The Open Door are 2 residential accommodation services in West and North Melbourne providing 102 beds to homeless adult males who are referred to the facility through Launch Housing, Rough Sleeper programs and Day Centres. The facilities operate twenty four hours a day, seven days a week with a team of Community Support staff and Case Managers providing a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
A Case Manager provides case management support to both residential and outreach clients to assist them in securing and maintaining safe, affordable and long-term housing. The role works across the 2 residential sites of Flagstaff and The Open Door assisting clients to develop individual case plans supporting them in achieving their goals.
The Case Manager is part of a collaborative case management and community of support team working from a Trauma informed, strength based person centred approach.
