About the Program

The Program operates within the State Social Command of The Salvation Army Southern Territory (TSA) and is located within the SalvoConnect Barwon Specialist Homelessness Services at 2a Settlement Rd Belmont. This position provides case management support to clients. The position:

  • Works with chronically homeless women in the Barwon region who are often reluctant to access supports;
  • Engages with these women to develop case plans;
  • Work with families to enhance family inclusive practice and to address issues contributing to their homelessness;
  • Works as part of a team along with case managers and other support workers to achieve the best outcomes for families;
  • Works in the best interest of children in line with the Keeping Children Safe policy

This position is remunerated under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 and includes generous salary packaging opportunities and workplace flexibility.

All candidates are subject to child safety screening and assessment against child safety standards. A Working With Children Check, Police Check and a Victorian driver’s licence is mandatory for this position.
