Our role is to provide assurance to Parliament and the Tasmanian community about the performance of public sector entities and we are part of Tasmania’s integrity system. Performance audits focus on getting to the heart of issues that are important to Tasmanians. We currently have a permanent vacancy for a Manager, Performance Audit. In this role you’ll be leading small teams working on performance audits on the Auditor-General’s behalf. From day to day you could find yourself carrying out fieldwork in different parts of the State, meeting with people from a wide range of organisations, from frontline public servants to politicians, or briefing parliamentary committees. It’s a challenging role full of variety that gives you a unique view of the public sector in Tasmania. For the successful candidate we will provide the training and tools for you to excel in this role including training and networking with peers from across Australasia.
