Thorne Harbour Health (THH) is currently recruiting 2 receptionists that will provide reception and admin services to the clients and medical practitioners across the medical services offered at our two sites in Fitzroy and St Kilda.
Equinox is a health centre that provides general practice services exclusively to the Trans and Gender Diverse & Non-Binary (TGD&NB) community. The primary objective of Equinox is to reduce the barriers that TGD people face in accessing primary health care services and to contribute to the enhanced health and well-being of members in this specific community.
PRONTO! is a peer driven, community-based approach to reduce barriers to testing and early HIV detection in the gay, bi and men who have sex with men (MSM) communities. PRONTO! services include Peer Rapid HIV testing and STI screening and medical practitioner facilitated Pre – Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) access clinics.
The Centre Clinic, located in St Kilda, provides general practice, sexual health and HIV management services to the LGBTI and HIV positive communities.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the complex barriers that our clients face in accessing quality health care and sexual health screening. Our services cater to TGD&NB, Gay, Bisexual and MSM, HIV positive and LGBTIQ+ communities.
Previous experience working in a medical setting would be highly regarded.
The positions are part time roles where the successful candidates can expect a minimum of 33.5 hours per fortnight each and additional rostered hours to cover team leave and absences.
