We are looking for an experienced worker to join our team in our Youth Engagement team.

Applicants should hold relevant tertiary qualifications within youth work, behavioural, social sciences, education fields or demonstrated work experience in a similar role or discipline. Preferred applicants will have a strong knowledge and understanding of the current issues affecting LGBTIQA+ young people, excellent digital and in-person group facilitation skills, including small group work, and experience in project or event management.

Twenty10 incorporating GLCS NSW provides a broad range of specialised services for LGBTIQA+ people and people of diverse genders, sexualities and intersex status including; housing, mental health, counselling and social supports for young people, counselling and social support services to adults, and inclusivity training and consultation for organisations and service providers across most sectors. Twenty10 is the NSW partner for QLife.

The role is part time, 68 hours per fortnight including some evening and/or weekend work, paid at SCHADS Level 4 on a one year contract.

The role is based in Chippendale, inner Sydney, but may also include work in Western Sydney.
