About the Opportunity

When busy and working families need more time outside of school hours and during school holidays, we provide engaging programs that are fun, safe and rewarding for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Within the home-like atmosphere of our service nestled in the grounds of the Engadine Uniting Church, we offer a wide and diverse range of creative and recreational activities that are tailored to your child’s unique interests, personality and abilities.

Our thoughtfully planned programs are designed to enhance many of the skills your child learns at school along with their life skills, while keeping them engaged and entertained.

We are seeking casual Educators to join the team!

What you’ll be doing in this role

As an Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework! 

 Your work may include:

  • Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
  • Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.

Who we’re looking for

  • Previous experience working in an OSHC service.
  • Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
  • A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard).
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, families and community members.
