Uniting is currently seeking casual Early Learning Educators (Certificate 3) to join the team at Uniting Airlie Preschool located in Oatlands!
Greystanes Uniting Church Child Care Centre, is a purpose-built long day care nestled in the grounds of Greystanes Uniting Church. Our warm and welcoming service operates during school terms and offers stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. Our programs have as a strong focus on inclusion and support for children with additional needs.
What you’ll be doing in this role
As a casual Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!
Your work may include:
- Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
Who we’re looking for
- Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous on the job experience in inclusion support (preferred)
- Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
- A work history that demonstrates, programming, recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
