As a senior member of the People and Culture leadership team, you will develop and implement the employee and industrial relations strategy for Uniting and lead the IR/ER function across NSW and ACT supporting 10,500 employees and volunteers engaged under a number of enterprise agreements and industrial instruments.
You’ll be experienced at developing and implementing Industrial/Employee Relations strategies to support the attraction and retention of employees through the provision of terms, conditions and practices that are competitive and demonstrate the value of our people.
You’ll have a proven track record in successfully leading the formulation, negotiation, and successful implementation of EBAs and have a deep knowledge of the Federal, NSW and ACT industrial landscapes. Your written and verbal communication skills will stand you in great stead to navigate a large complex organisation and work proactively with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve results. Your passion for social justice will shine as you support case management and workplace relations with a focus on supporting employees to rehabilitate.
You will generously share your expertise and knowledge with your colleagues to support IR/ER capability development.
Based in our Sydney or Parramatta office you will have flexibility to work across our many office locations as well as at home. Some travel within NSW/ACT will ensure you can collaborate with people in person to achieve better outcomes.
