Uniting is seeking a Centre Manager to join our Unifam Program in Fairfield on a full-time basis until 30 June 2020,

About the Role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of Family Relationship Centre. This role is focused on the effective operations of the programs running in Fairfield Family Relationship Centre, ensuring a high quality standard is delivered and that all program specifications and funding requirements are met.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Psychology or Social Work
- 5 years’ experience in the social welfare and human services sector
- Experience (two years’) and high level skills in the management of welfare services including budgets, physical resources and administration
- High level clinical supervision skills
- Superior case management and assessment skills
- Knowledge and ability to undertake Family Dispute Resolution or Counselling/case management dependent upon area of expertise
- High level knowledge and understanding of the issues impacting on children and families during and following separation
- Demonstrated ability to translate identified needs into responsive outcome focused services
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan, and evaluate projects and services
- Strong ability to independently grow services to create a high profile for the Family Relationship Centre in the community
- Ability to deliver regional and organisational goals
- High Level ability to manage external relationships
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills and the ability to develop motivated, cohesive and effective work teams
Desirable Criteria:
- Post-graduate qualifications in counselling, dispute resolution or management
- An understanding of the Family Law System
