The Uniting Institute of Education is Uniting’s National registered Training organisation. We are an enterprise RTO and offer qualifications in aged care and community services.

We are currently seeking an experienced RTO Risk and Compliance Manager based in Parramatta, who will be responsible to ensure overall compliance with all relevant external bodies, including quality assurance, accreditation and legislative requirements. This includes meeting the regulator (ASQA) Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015, across regulatory compliance, reporting and governance practice.

Key essential requirements for the role include:

• Demonstrated similar experience in a successful RTO
• Prior experience with a range of funding contracts, in particular smart and skilled funding
• Ensuring the RTO meets all regulatory requirements of ASQA and state regulators

The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge and experience in:

• Monitoring the RTO’s compliance with the VET Quality Framework
• Develop compliance monitoring plans based on legislative and regulatory requirements
• Lead all internal auditing for ASQA compliance
• RTO registration, scope extension and compliance audits
• Approving training and assessment materials
• Develop, review and maintain relevant policies and procedures
• Experience working with JobReady software is desirable but not essential
• AVETMISS reporting

You must hold a relevant tertiary qualification and current Cert IV. Diploma in Quality Auditing is desirable.

Your ability to develop and maintain credibility, integrity and effective working relationships with the management team, colleagues and clients will be instrumental to your success in the role.
