This position plays a critical role in supporting VACCA to integrate legislative and compliance obligations into organisational policies, procedures, practice directives, and associated forms and templates. Additionally, it is responsible for overseeing and managing VACCA’s privacy obligations and providing expert advice on Information Sharing and Practice Frameworks to ensure the organisation's compliance with relevant requirements.
This role ensures the development, review, and update of VACCA’s policies, procedures, and practice directives in line with legislative requirements, organisational goals, and operational needs. It manages privacy obligations through a "Privacy by Design" approach, offering guidance on privacy risks, addressing breaches, and providing tailored staff training. Additionally, the role coordinates the sharing and management of personal information, consent, and information exchange frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
