Overview

As the Business Intelligence Data & Reporting Analyst you will be accountable for ensuring the provision of performance reports and dashboards to the business.

These reports and dashboard tools will provide a measure of performance against key indicators and benchmarks set by the business and will play a crucial role in driving decision-making related to activities and campaigns while in market.

What A Day as A D24 Data AnalYSt Looks Like:

  • Processing D24’s – Organising data
  • Following up on D24 outcomes
  • Gathering and recording statistics and data
  • Sending through all relevant correspondence; such as, reminders, bail and summon letters
  • Assist with creation and publication of educational media, advertisements, flyers and booklets that are relevant to the CNS program
  • Complete official documentation that flows on from the Custody Notification system
  • Undertake filing of reports and other documentation on behalf of clients.
  • Keep up to date with relevant procedures by attending professional education programs and maintain an understanding of issues impacting the justice system and members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in the processing of D24’s.
  • Advanced skills in the use of MS Office Software (particularly MS Word, Excel, E-mail) to a legal practice and the capacity to quickly acquire competency in the use of VALS’ client data base.
  • Professional and courteous phone manner and interpersonal skills and the capacity to communicate effectively with members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
  • A commitment to the legal issues faced by members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community in Victoria.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others and to foster a co-operative and supportive team environment.
  • Ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and acknowledge their diverse backgrounds, personalities and varying needs and the unique cultural ways in which they may be expressed.

Desirable / Mandatory Requirements

On offer of this position, you must provide:

  • A copy of your current Employee Working with Children card
  • A copy of your current Victorian Driver’s License
  • You will be required to complete a current Criminal History Police Check
  • Proof of rights to work in Australia, i.e. a copy of an Australian Passport, Birth Certificate or Immigration VISA documentation
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
