• Teacher 1.1 to 5 (Award Classification), $53,431 - $85,614 per annum pro-rata plus 9.5% employer superannuation contribution

About the Role

As a TAFE teacher delivering into Victoria Polytechnic’s high quality community services and/or youth programs you will be responsible for teaching and assessing students and for developing and customising learning materials for a range of student, client and industry needs. You have diverse sector experience and can provide prospective and current students with comprehensive advice on course selection, workplace expectations, learning strategies and other student related issues.        

About the Person

As an experienced teacher in the TAFE sector with current/recent direct service experience in youth work and/or community services, you will inspire our students with your passion for teaching and extensive contemporary industry knowledge and experience. Your proven ability to facilitate learning and assessment in a diverse range of settings and familiarity with competency based training and assessment and blended learning will help set you up for success in this role. It is essential that you hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to be eligible to apply for this role.

• Ensure quality compliance with ASQA Standards and HESG service agreements
• Maintain a client focused approach to the business and practice of education and training including delivery, industry consultancy and partnership management
