Victoria Law Foundation is seeking a temporary Communications Officer to assist the Communications team for a 4-month period to help deliver communications and promotional content with a focus on supporting Victorian Law Week (VLW).

As part of a small team, this role will suit an individual who enjoys working collaboratively and being fully involved in all activities.

Salary:

  • $33 per hour

Tasks:

Under the supervision of the Communications Manager, you will assist with:

  • developing promotional and marketing materials as required such as brochures, online news articles, EDMs, guides, media releases, invitations, flyers, etc
  • editing, proofreading and publishing event entries on the Victorian Law Week website
  • liaise with Event Organisers about their participation in Victorian Law Week, including responding to enquiries and requests for assistance
  • contribute to the production of social media content (primarily Facebook and Twitter) including posts, events, videos and images
  • upload and edit website content
  • assist with media liaison, key media contacts, list building and maintenance and media activities planning
