The WA Digital Inclusion Project has been established to support the digital skill, knowledge and capability needs of front-line community service workers and vulnerable individuals. The project is currently implementing a number of initiatives to ensure they can fully participate in a society experiencing rapid digital transformation in every aspect of our work and social lives and gain the significant social and economic benefits it can deliver. The project is delivered in partnership with leading community services, Government and business organisations and our major supporter Lotterywest.

We are seeking a full time Executive Manager, 38 hours’ week with flexible working options. We need a strong, dynamic, collaborative and influential leader to guide and direct this strategically important project.

The Executive Manager will be responsible for overall project leadership including taking the lead with project implementation, team leadership, partner relationship management, contract management, reporting and financial oversight. The position is supported by the Digital Inclusion Strategic Reference Group and Project Partner Network and governance is provided by the WACOSS Board.

The successful applicant will be a strong project manager and thoughtful leader, committed to addressing the needs of the most vulnerable by empowering frontline community sector workers to innovate. It is an opportunity to break new ground and develop practical ways of working that will make a real difference.

The right person must have the ability to build positive relationships with relevant community service organisations, business and government representatives, and to manage the engagement, contributions and expectation of the project partners, alongside service managers and frontline staff.

They need to be able to lead and inspire a small project team, work closely with the Capability and Sustainability Lead, and coordinate the activities of other project partner representatives contributing in kind to specific activities and initiatives.

Experience working in a community service organisation at senior management level, an understanding of issues that impact the community services and vulnerable consumers in WA is a must.

Advanced stakeholder engagement, relationship management and communication skills will be critical to the position, as they will need to promote participation in the project, capture project achievements, garner lessons learned, and help advocate the policy changes that arise to decision makers.
