Westgate Community Initiatives Group Ltd. (WCIG) is an established, not for profit organisation that is committed to creating practical responses to unemployment and disadvantage across Melbourne and Geelong. Our mission is to empower people to achieve a meaningful role in society.
As a result of significant, ongoing program growth, we have multiple, newly created opportunities for passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team. Employment is on a casual basis and your hours are expected to increase over time as referrals come in. Many of our existing team are working to their maximum capacity based on their availability, and the hours you get will also depend on your flexibility to travel locally. If you’re looking for something a little more irregular, we are also taking expressions of interest for our on-call pool of workers.
Before you apply, please note that you may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends. Your role will be to provide one-on-one support in various activities to individuals with a wide range of disabilities who receive funding through the NDIS and who receive a service from WCIG.
