Wintringham is a unique not-for-profit organisation providing an extensive range of aged care, housing and related support services to people aged 50-plus who have been homeless or are at risk of homelessness. We employ over 900 staff and operate from multiple offices across Melbourne, Hobart and regional Victoria. Our Head Office, located in Flemington, provides the strategic direction and support services for Wintringham’s residential, housing, NDIS, outreach and community care services.
We are currently seeking a proactive and dynamic all-rounder to join our Communications Team as a Part Time Communications Officer on a Fixed Term Part-Time basis to cover a period of parental leave until 27 Oct 2023. In this busy and dynamic role, you will build a positive public image of Wintringham using multiple internal and external communication channels e.g. publications, marketing materials (print and online), social media and events.
For more information about this exciting role, you can view copy of the Position Description via the Wintringham website.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a NDIS Screening Check and Police Records check. Refusal to provide your information to both of these parties will prevent Wintringham from being able to continue with your application.
Applicants who have lived in a country other than Australia for a period longer than 12 months in the last 10 years may be required to undergo an International Police Check.
Successful candidates will be required to show evidence of having three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine as well as a 2022 influenza vaccine prior to commencing employment with Wintringham.
