We have opportunities for purpose driven customer service professionals across Melbourne CBD, Preston, Doncaster, Cheltenham, Warragul, Oakleigh, Broadmeadows, Dandenong/Springvale and the Latrobe Valley region.

About the Opportunity

As an Employment Consultant, you will:

  • Assist in achieving targets
  • Ensure jobseeker intake, initial appointments and interviews are carried out in accordance with WISE policies and procedures
  • Support local site teams in assessing jobseekers according to their skills and barriers to employment
  • Engage with local businesses and employers to source and create job vacancies for jobseekers
  • Provide support, mentoring and other assistance to ensure the sustainability of jobseeker employment placements and track all placements to maximise Employment Outcomes.

Our Hiring Process

To be considered for the role you will:

  • Demonstrate your commitment to a customer centric workplace culture
  • Have 3+ years’ experience in recruitment / customer service, retail or hospitality
  • Demonstrate several key traits including self-motivation, confidence when empowering jobseekers and relationship management
  • Have the right to work in Australia
  • Hold a current Drivers licence
  • Satisfy a national police clearance check, and Work with Children Check requirements

In accordance with the Chief Health Officers COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Direction candidates for this role are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status as a condition of employment.
