A specialist role within the People & Culture team, the National Work Health and Safety Advisor provides advice and support to Wellways managers and employees on all aspects of workplace health and safety. This role will follow and act in accordance with relevant legislation, standards, requirements and Wellways values, code of conduct and policies.
The National Work Health and Safety Advisor supports the development, implementation, monitoring and ongoing improvement of the Wellways Workplace Health and Safety System, associated frameworks, management plans, initiatives, relevant policies and procedures.
With strong safety culture at the core of how we work, this role has a prevention and early intervention focus to build the competency and capacity of managers and employees.
You are a contemporary health and safety specialist, and bring a pragmatic, values aligned partnering approach to achieve success in what you do. You have demonstrated experience working in an WHS role in a medium to large organisation, preferably in a health care, not-for-profit or community services organisation.
