Located within the Top End of the Northern Territory, the West Daly Regional Council covers 14,000 square kilometres and has a population of more than 3700 residents throughout the communities of Wadeye, Nganmarriyanga and Peppimenarti as well as the surrounding 33 homelands, 11 of which are serviced by Council. Wadeye is the largest remote community and the fifth largest town in the Northern Territory.

The Community Night Patrol (CNP) Manager is a position that is required to work closely with the community and the CNP Team Leaders and Officers to ensure that CNP meets local community needs across the three communities in West Daly Regional Council (WDRC) – Wadeye, Nganmarriyanga and Peppimenarti.

CNP Manager is a leadership role, coordinating and overseeing the team members operating Night Patrol throughout the three WDRC communities, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents. It is your opportunity to guide, mentor and develop CNP Team Leaders and Officers, and to play an important role in assisting WDRC achieve its long term goals.
You will liaise with, and advise the CNP Team Leaders and other community stakeholders on community issues as, and when, you become aware of them. You will be an important link from Council to the community, providing advice, information and assistance to community members.

The CNP Manager position is a full time permanent position with an annual salary package of $106765.53 including 6 weeks annual leave.
