The Volunteer Services Officer at Wildlife Victoria plays a key role in providing outstanding customer service for new and existing volunteers, enhancing the volunteer experience through coordinating and administering volunteer services. The Volunteer Services Officer will be an energetic administrator with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in volunteers, ensuring volunteers can perform effectively in field for Wildlife Victoria.

Central to Wildlife Victoria’s day to day volunteer interactions, the Volunteer Services Officer is key to ensuring volunteers have what they need and are well supported. This role is important in creating and maintaining productive and efficient volunteer services and ensuring high levels of effectiveness.

You will be highly organised and proactive with strong attention to detail and ability to calmly multi task under pressure. You will have a warm and engaging style and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will be proficient in using Microsoft Office and confident in using databases.

You will have a passion and care for our wildlife. Volunteer services experience in the Not for Profit sector is highly desired as is extensive customer service experience.
