About the role:

Working as a Next Step Coach, your role will entail supporting clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression through a number of different, evidence-based therapies.

Your role will also involve conducting client screening assessments, linking consumers to other relevant services, ensuring data collection and clinical notes are accurate and maintaining a full-time consumer load in order to decrease wait times and ensure consistent service delivery.

Initial in-depth training will be provided to the successful candidates and ongoing weekly clinical supervision will also be provided.

About you

We encourage applicants to apply who:

  • Have previous experience within the mental health, social, community or welfare sectors
  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as cooperatively and effectively as part of a team.
  • Have strong personal integrity, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with regard to computer skills.
  • Are enthusiastic about attaining new skills through local and interstate training.

Possessing a tertiary qualification in Psychology, Community Education, Counselling, Development or Social Work is highly desirable.

To be successful in your application, you must currently hold or be able to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People card.
